Arrange a legal bay for our Luton van — or tell us where the nearest legal parking is.
Parking for Your Move
Please arrange a legal parking space for our van before moving day. Controlled parking zones, yellow lines and residents’ bays are common across London — without a bay (or a clear note about how far the nearest legal spot is), loading takes longer and the job can be delayed.
Tell us about parking and access when you book. On many jobs we can apply for a bay suspension on your behalf if you ask at booking.
Your responsibility
Arranging suitable parking for the removals van is the responsibility of the person booking the move — whether it’s a full house removal orman and van across London. Our Luton vans need a full bay close to both the collection and delivery addresses.
London streets often have controlled parking zones, yellow lines, red routes and residents-only bays. Without a legal place to stop, loading takes longer — and the job can be delayed or stopped.
If parking is restricted, arrange a temporary bay suspension or permit through the local council in good time, or tell us honestly how far away the nearest legal parking is (for example 50 or 100 yards). Extra walking distance may add time and cost.

What to arrange before moving day
- Check both addresses for residents’ parking, yellow lines, red routes and loading restrictions.
- Apply for a bay suspension or permit with the relevant council — lead times are often 5–10 working days (sometimes longer).
- If parking is legal on the street, reserve a clear space outside before the van arrives where you can.
- Tell us at booking if access is tight, if a suspension is needed, or if we must park further away.

Parking fines and bay suspensions
On many London jobs we can submit a parking bay suspension application on your behalf if you ask when you book. Council fees and notice periods still apply and remain your responsibility.
If parking is not arranged in advance, any parking fines are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid on completion. We will not park illegally. If legal parking is not available, the driver may have to leave and the move may need to be rearranged.
